Healthy recipe: turmeric lassi with dates and banana
Turmeric is a small but fine superfood. The root is said to help with gastrointestinal problems, joint problems, metabolic disorders and diabetes mellitus. The turmeric is in good hands in the delicious lassi.
Shopping list: turmeric lassi
For two servings of lassi you need the following ingredients:
- 2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 ripe banana
- 4 dates
- 40 g chopped almonds
- 400 grams of yoghurt
- 1 TL Honig
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 160ml water
Preparation steps:
The preparation time of the Lassi is about 10 minutes, ideal for a quick breakfast or in between:
- Peel the banana and pit the dates.
- Then puree all the ingredients together with a hand blender or in a blender.
Tip: Serve the lassi with ice cubes and enjoy.
