Johnson & Johnson corona vaccine approved in the EU
Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine is already approved in the United States. In Germany, the first vaccine doses should arrive in April.

The vector vaccine stands out from other vaccines particularly in terms of storage and the number of vaccine doses. Unlike Moderna and BioNTech/Pfizer vaccines, the vaccine can be stored at normal refrigerator temperatures. In addition, one dose of the vaccine from Johnson & Johnson is sufficient for complete vaccination protection – the vaccination process does not have to be repeated. The effectiveness of the vaccine is 67 percent for moderate to severe and 85 percent for life-threatening courses of the disease.
