Lunch or dinner: Healthy pita for athletes
The delicious pita breads are prepared in around 20 minutes and can be refined with vegetables such as peppers or cucumbers , as desired.
Ingredients for the delicious pita
For two people you need:
- 3 tomatoes
- 100 g iceberg lettuce
- 1 onion
- 1 lime
- 200g chicken breast
- 1 Avocado
- 4 Pita-Sprout
- 1 chili pepper
- 1 tbsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper
preparation steps
How to prepare the pita:
- Cut the chicken into small pieces, season with salt, pepper, paprika powder and cayenne pepper. Then fry in a pan.
- For the salsa: Dice the tomatoes and avocado, chop the onions and chili peppers, squeeze the lime and mix all the ingredients into a creamy mass. Season with salt and pepper.
- Then briefly bake the pita breads in the oven according to the instructions on the packet. Wash lettuce leaves. Open the bread crossways and fill with the lettuce, chicken and salsa.
- Serve and enjoy.
