Nutty Matcha Latte: Delicious recipe

Matcha Latte is healthy and for many a tasty alternative to morning coffee or as a pick-me-up in the afternoon. With just a few ingredients, the creamy Matcha Latte is very easy to make – and thanks to the almond milk, it tastes wonderfully nutty.

Matcha contains many healthy ingredients such as  potassium , calcium and iron as well as B vitamins and  vitamins C , E and K. The superfood owes its bright green color to the chlorophyll it contains, which can have a positive effect on the intestines and is said to help with  bad breath  . The great thing about the following recipe is that only a few ingredients are needed and the delicious Matcha Latte is prepared super quickly.

Matcha latte with nut flavor

Ingredients (1 serving):

  • 300 ml almond drink without sugar (e.g. from Alpro)
  • 3 tbsp hot water
  • 1 TL Matcha (Pulver)
  • 1 TL Mandelmus

Preparation of the green coffee alternative

If you love green tea powder, you should definitely try this version of Matcha Latte!

  1. First bring the water to a boil, for example with a kettle.
  2. Then carefully heat the unsweetened almond drink in a saucepan.
  3. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until fluffy.
  4. Serve in a glass.
